Sunset at M.O.A.

Yesterday I went to Mall of ASIA (MOA) to meet some guys who do HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography, the guys are friendly and they even set up a small lecture on how to use Photomatix,A software used for doing HDRs, for some of the Hobbyist who attended.

Yesterdays' sunset was beautiful because it was not so cloudy, so instead of composing some shots for the HDR I did some exercise for my self, I tried shooting different looks of the sunset yeasterday, and with a little luck I have this shots.

FireWorks Batch 2

I was Doing nothing last night so I checked the shots I took last Saturday if there are still pictures I can post, here are them.

2008 World Pyro techniques Competition

Last Saturday after work, I went to the 2008 World Pyro Olympics held at the SM Mall of Asia Esplanade. It was the last day for photographers to practice and experiment taking moving lights at night.

The Best Images that I shot have a

Shutter Speed - set to bulb Mode, and my clicks Range from 1 to 6 seconds, Of course the Shutter Speed Depends on the light intensity of the firework and the number of fireballs, more light and more fireballs needs less exposure time (Shutter Speed)

Apperture - I played with apperture ranging from 9 to 11

ISO - i used ISO 200, Dont ever use ISO 1600 based on my experience last saturday.... Not Good....

Focal Length - i used the widest i can use which is 18mm on my kit lens

But before the main event, I took some random shots

The Sky while waiting and Before It Get Darked

Ordered some fruit juice but i have no shot of the juice, only the fruits

And Some Fire Power

I have reviewed My shots and seen this pict, Taken from the first presenter

Im thinking of what the first two pictures above resemble and got my answer in this shot, which I took from the show of the second country

Island with palm trees

Here are my shots of the First Country who showcased their work

There was a one hour set-up time for the second country so we decided to visit and shoot the Mitsubishi car show nearby.

Here's the show of the Next country

After the fireworks show while my Cam is still on tripod I Did some Abstract Light Painting =)
