My First Morning Shot

I walk Floffy, My Pet, Every Morning. She just loves running around the village and playing with the children whenever she sees one. This morning is just great, I have seen some children playing with spiders so i went home to get my camera and came back where i saw them, luckily they are still there.

So here's my trophy for waking up early everyday =). My first Morning Shot.

Lessons Learned with tips and techniques from Sir John Chua....

1. Purchase a good Tripod.
2. Shoot Raw when posible.
3. Best to shoot the cathedrals interior with lights on, See Sched of Weddings etc..
4. Master Your Camera... Its the Driver not the Ferrari.
5. Shoot using Burst Mode when posible(Helps in getting sharp Images).
6. Shoot using Different Exposures.
7. Study the area if you want to have a good shot. Look at my Pasig Simbahan shoot. BAD SHOT .. =( cannot find a good Are to shoot at... balik ako next time ehehe.. Dont Give up...
8. Smile.....

Back to Manila Zoo After 2 decades

Last Sunday we went to Manila Zoo, Its 2 decades since i last went there... It was only last night that i have time Cropping and adjusting the levels of my shots....

Here are some lessons that i've learned

1. I finally tried shooting at f3.5 apperture and with a zoom lense, it actually remove the Bars from the cages (see Pictures Below)... Thanks Manual hehehe...

2. Shooting at burst mode when not using a tripod actually helps in getting sharper images, If for example i have 7 shots, more or less 3 will be sharper than the others....

3. Patience is a virture.... If you dont have patience you cant get what you need... Look at the owl... it took me almost 15 minutes waiting for it to look into me...

4. Smile is your secret weapon. If you want to get shots of children or people you dont know. Learn how to smile and you'll be surprised you'll make new friends.....

Here are my favorite shots.....
